Poldark Mine and Theme Park

The poldark heritage site is a fine example of tourism keeping our heritage alive, not only one of the most impressive mine tours in europe (quoting the chairman of English Heritage) also host to country crafts, pottery, candle making, antique restoration to name a few. For a hands on experience, pan for gold, throw a pot, paint your own tee shirt!

Gweek Seal Sanctuary

The National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek has been voted Cornwall's best tourist attraction, not a zoo, an ongoing rescue service for sick and injured seals that are nursed back to health and released into the wild.

Forty or so seals have been released so far in the 2005 to 2006 rescue season. This is an interesting day out knowing you are directly contributing to welfare of the local wildlife.

The Eden Project

A visit to Cornwall would not be complete without a visit to Eden, many of our visitors leave it to their homeward journey, a welcome rest and a truly memorable way to finish your holiday.

Photographs do not fully prepare you for sight of the domes, with more to be built Eden will just be getting better, raising awareness of mans impact on the environment, and delighting young and old alike.

Spirit of the West Theme Park

The Spirit of The West is an American theme park, a recreation of the wild west, living history has been created with authentic costumes and enactment's. There's an authentic 'Street Gunfight' at regular intervals throughout the day. It's worth a visit just to see this realistic piece of outdoor theatre.
